Can anyne recomend an insurance company that will insure modified bikes,
im after insurance for a chop im building but as soon as i tell them the frame is modified they say they cant help,

also i used to insure my hardtail chop with carole nash. they werent really bothered unless it had engine mods

my chop is yam frame LOL, one off hardtail, suzi engine with kwak front and rear ends
£150 per year, Im 31 so probably at the younger end of the scale on here and I think thats cheap

Ive been quoted £254 from carole nash wich i dont think is to bad as its got a GSXR750 engine fitted and it was gonna cost me £187 as a standard bike
but ill try e-sure now :D :D

They came back around £5 more but they might have an advantage,, Do they do monthly instalements cos once ive finished the buld ill be bloomin skint lol

Bikesure are OK. We're both with them - but with two different underwriters for some daft reason.

Then rung adrian Flux again and ad a chat then as if by magic £125 fully comp!!

I wont use bikesure i think there a set of wan*ers, I had my trike covered with them and with the mess up with postal strikes ect the didnt receive my pics of the trike so the wan*ers cancelled my policy then expected me to pay for it :mad: :mad:

ive just renewed my insurance with mrs nash. there the only company that would cover my 78 gp100 with gsxr1100 engine chop. i have also added another gsxr1100 for 30 quid. :D

was using Adrian flux up until today, just took out a policy on bike ive bought, Adrian flux wanted over £400 :eek: tried carol nash got it for £190 with much better coverage, and breakdown cover
