We're used to windy here in Seaford, we get a lot of wild windy weather here as it's very exposed to the sea. Bike's got cover on and hatches are battened down as usual. We haven't got a garage either and can't get bikes into shed as passageway round to the back of the house is too narrow for handlebars to get thru!

Nice offer tho fairplay bud.
I got a terraced house with only only one way of access to the back yard...i just about managed a VF400 but the bandit and now the speed triple theres just not enough room without scratchin paint work and stuff.

Erm...........Still falls the rain,....... in Manchester! The veils of darkness shroud the blackened trees, which, contorted by some unseen violence bend their bowes and shed their tired leaves before a grey Earth of severed birds wings amoungst the grasses..........Erm..its not windy ere! :o

I used "No More Nails" (Other brands that do the same thing are readily available(No advertising please !!!!!)) to glue cloth covered rubber to the corners of the walls that make it a tight squeeze.
That way I can get the front end of the FZX round the corner and lean the handlebar on the wall and then pick up the back end and step in around until the exhaust is resting on the wall as well. That way I have a clear run (apart from all the f'ing discarded Wheely Bins) to my back gate which is a double.
I wouldn't dare leave my bike out front round here with all the little scrotes !!!

Wot's a garage?? Even if the council would get me onto the waiting list for one, it would be 3 streets away :(
I do have a shed in the back garden, but access is cr4p and it is full of useful things and I can't fit a bike in there. Strictly speaking it should not even be there.
Hence the bike lives in the back yard under a tarpaulin, and securelly tied to a handrail. Oh, how I dream of a garage with electrics.

and securelly tied to a handrail. Gated Allyway, get passed that and you are faced with the Wheely Bin run, get passed that and you have a 6' gate with 4 locks from ground to top, get passed that and you have a 6' Iron gate, get passed that and there's 2 rottweilers (1 75% Rotty 25% German sheppard = dog the size of a small horse!!!) get passed them and you have a 4' Iron gate, get passed that and you are at the bike which is alarmed and chained to a 30' alluminium ladder which is in turn chained to the wall.
get passed that and f**k it you are welcome to it after all that !!!!
Takes me 10 minutes to get the bike out and I have all the keys !!!
