fucking funniest film ever made.

incidentally have you ever seen the soundtrack cd? thought not. they released it, and then were informed that the family of jimmy hendrix were refusing to give permission to have his music used in it, as the family own the rights to his stuff, and wont allow its use in anything that promotes or glamourises drink or drugs, so the soundtrack got pulled and deleted by the record company, and now the few that are out there, (i have 2 and one on vinyl!) sell for upwards of 60 quid on ebay. even better, the original film posters, known as a film quad, are changing hands , due to the ralph steadman artwork, for in the region of £1000 each, i wish i had one of them!!!!!!

Ah yes, that might be case...

but if you get the 20th anniversary edition of the DVD, with the tin case, etc. (only a fiver from Amazon!! ;)) you get the soundtrack as the third disk (the other two being the film and the extras.

I want Cake, to soak up the alcohol!! :D

true, but you dont get the full soundtrack. you can get a pirated cd called the embalmer which is basically the full soundtrack cut with all the quotable pieces of dialogue.
you might guess that im a bit of a fan!!

thankfully I work with people who all like Withnail and I, so we ended up quoting lines for ages. :D
