i have some codes around here somewhere to make dvd region free but i'm sure when i find them they are only for home units not pc ones

Do what I did... Install another DVD Drive (cheap as fook these days)

Watch region 1 on one and region whatever on the other

I'd need about 4 DVD drives,discs from at least 4 regions!Like I said,CHEAP!

there are firmware hacks about for various drives, but they are make and model specific so you need to go to one of the dvd ripping forums and ask there, with all the details of your drive.
I know for a fact that here is one for the sony dru-710a dual layer burner coz i gots one see LOL...

anyDVD will remove region codes as well as most copy protection systems
