Other than Dave Silver (who can't help)
I'm looking for a set of switchgear screws off a CM125 and they only have three in stock. I'd rather buy all four in one go. Can't be that difficult can it?

I think there is more of a chance of getting a perfect condition Norton original for £100 to be honest.
Mitch, take the old screws to your local friendly engineers supplies place and they will match them up for you. :)

slight problem old chap, I haven't got any of the original screws!
Ah.....that does pose somewhat of a problem............
But, take the switchgear in instead and they will match the screws up or sell you some long screws that you can cut to length yourself.
Ta Daaaaaaaaaaaaaa! :D

I'm in the shed of doom tomorrow.Have a look around.
Which screws are they exactly?
inside the switchgear?
Ones that hold it all together onto the bars?
I'll have some sort off something.
Let me know yeah?

You could try Chris from the 3Bs, he's based in Aldershot...but might very well be able to help you, as he sells 125cc and below, parts, does repairs etc. and plastic welding, he can be contacted on the following numbers:

I've just whipped mine out!!! and they are M5's. The one at the back (nearest you sitting on the bike) it is 25 millimetres long and the other one at the front end is 35 long. an allen head or something similar should do.
Hope this helps--owt else you need assistance with?

Alan, methinks you might have been misdirected, they are just the ones you screw into the switchgear to hold the whole thing together and onto the bars...
that's why the CM of doom hasn't got any further since last summer...
Also, does anyone have the things that the indicators mount onto? the bits that go between the grab rail and the indicators themselves... Dave Silver can't get hold of them either  despite their large pattern part holdings - that's something else which is stalling me - I bought indicators there last year and they didn't mention the in-between-y bits.

No boy no!! They are the one's that go from the bottom half of the clampy thing into the top half and hold both parts tightly to the handlebars in question- well on mine they do anyway- Honest.

Mitch!!
Have you got your screws yet? I'll try to take some pictures of the indicator brackets over the weekend and post them for you if you want-it should be fairly easy to make some.

Could be take a piece of 1"x3" steel - drill a hole in each end-- Hey Presto etc etc.. You could manage that i reckon.

Here you go Mitch, Not the easiest thing to take pictures of, but they show that the original indicators fix to the rear grab rail which in turn is fitted to the rear mudguard. If you ain't got a grab rail you can probably make some sort of bracket to do the job.
Hope this helps.

Cheers Alan,
At least I have something to go on now.
I've found where else I can get a set of screws, however, everywhere I've asked, they've only got three... with the other one having to come from Honda
