Hi all,

Those of you living in the Medway Towns area (and further afield) are invited to the regular Monday meetings of the Medway branch of the Motorcyle Action Group.

We don't care what you ride. Open to all bikers. New and old.

This is a friendly and very social group. Regular runs are organised, as well as social evenings.

The regular Meeting starts around 8pm each Monday at the Beacon Court Tavern in Gillingham.

Wow , this brings back memories. Before moving up to Newcastle thirty years ago I used to live in Gillingham and was often to be found in the Beacon Court on Sunday lunchtimes - it used to be kind of open house for local musicians and as I played drums I used to call in.
Hope it goes well for you Guzzy.

Thanks for the kind words.

So far so good. The group has been meeting since May this year and currently has an average weekly turn out of 30 (yep, thirty) people.

Regular runs are organised (Sunday rides, and weeknight/weekend socials).

We have an excellent relationship with the local Pow Wow clubs. Which offers us a very large local social calender for the year.

Ivor Presland is the man behind it all. I'm still not sure how he's done it. Even coming in to the winter months we still have a strong turn out each monday.

The landlord of the Beacon Court Tavern - Simon, has been an absolute diamond. Even to the point of organising rock nights for us to raise money.

If your ever in the neighbourhood, do pop in.
