as per the title, building the frame and mudguard supoprts tongiht, but which way should I fit the bars for the rack, running across the trike, ie left to right, or the short way ie inline with the seating

any reasons in particlar for either way??

personal choice really. if you intend carrying a lot of weight on it then run the bars the short length, thus making them able to resist bending so easily :)

yeah I thgouht about that too, probably only going to be a rack for very short time, ie MSVA, then convert to bench seat after, so at least if I got short direction it will be plenty strong enough for a base for the bench seat

tried it both ways and doesnt look right either way, might look for some heavy 2" mesh to fill it in with, see how that looks

go with the mesh, seems a better idea. more secure for bungis and seat base alike :)
