On Saturday, me and my mate Phil were riding back through some fab country lanes and small towns on the way back from Bury Hill towards Bordon, when this tw@t in a BMW convertible, holding a mobile phone to his ear and steering with one hand, basically rolled into the roundabout, Phil managed to swerve and get in front of him, whereas I had to do an emergency stop to avoid hitting the car....
He was so committed to the conversation, he just didnt see us at all....I just wish I had longer arms to have batted the mobile from his ear as I overtook him - honestly...!!!

Oddly enough i had a run in with a bmw driver on way home from work today. steel toecaps sorted it though :D
he soon backed off after a little tap on his drivers door.
you were lucky clanger, It could have been nasty, shows you are aware of whats going on when you ride

Followed a nutter overtaking lorrys and wotnot on country lanes, blind bends, through villages, well above the limit and generaly being a right twat...
Thing was he was driving the chunkiest van possible...

The reason I'm super-sensitive on roundabouts is because 9 years ago, I had an incident that was nasty....! :(

Funny thing was I was stay within the speed limit and kept catching up everytime he got stuck behind traffic.
When he hit a particularly long line of traffic I breezed pass and left him a long way behind... You can get away with a little more on a bike cant you!
