View Full Version : I bought an 1100 dragstar today
I was meant to be buying a sub £1500 commuter. Preferably less than a gran. I ended up getting talked into tick on a 2000 Dragstar1100 . Although it did tick a few of the boxes.. Got a shaft, reasonably high capacity tank, not a hooligan bike that i'd be silly on and the same price as a sportster. All it needs is some straight thrus and she'll be louverrrrrly and comfy for touring. It comes with a fly screen but I might keep it on...
:D So the Chop is definately getting ratted as I am not getting the wife to clean two bikes! I collect next weekend and it looks like this one but without the stud work:

Freak and Kramer had quite alot to do with this choice as I was inpressed by the performance of the VN as described by Kramer and the comfort of Freaks Heritage Softail when I slung my leg over it.
And if I'm honest I envy Fayji doing all those miles in a big soft saddle. NExt big custom will be a Harley but for now I'm excited about the short week ahead
