Cant thanx everyone who helped out with everything for the rally so will leave you with this short note.

Too all my friends many thanx you all humbled me very much.

to those i'd never met - many thanx for coming along and supporting my friends and me.

To Rick Hulse for taking time out from his very busy scedule not only to be there to collect a cheque but to spend most of the weekend there.

To Blue,Yoda,Chris Ireland & Nik for turning up and making the weekend even more special

This rally was ment to be a one off event and I have called upon a lot of my friends who gave me 190% all for NOTHING -

as those there will know after a banter sat nite on the mikes I have been pursuaded to host number to next year - I just hope I can live upto the expectaions and make next year even better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So to all my firends I am a very lucky person

and it was buzzing - it was a good one,
there was not one thing that made it good, it was everything combined

Yes Juke I did as the Disco is getting busier and I really want to use it to do more for NABD. Also there was the old heart issue (luckily altho medication strength has been increased by the drs no other side effects.

Also thurs nite when we were sat down after setting up teh site and chilling out which ended with me being sick - kindly everyone ignored it and didnt say much

Before the event i was feeling guilty to clubs and events that booked me and appolgoised to them for not giving there event 110% - and they all said they were over the moon with what i had done for them.

but 2008 is already on my comp in planning stage with 4 bands already :):):)

my appols on the 2nd to last band on sat night - they pestered me and there cd sounded good (the only band i didna know personally) Ive just had a very nice email of them saying that they had a geat time and sorry fo rthe short set. The lead singer decided that the there style of music didnt go down with the crowd We had. so all respect to him for making that desiction.

Next year again the bands willbe all people I wil be/am lucky work with so hopefully we can eraise the mistake i made this year and create an even better party next year

Creature, it was an absolute pleasure coming to Bedford and play for you!
I had an amazing time and to say I haven't had a holiday as such since I
was 17, this was the perfect choice!

With the exception of one bloke who looked at my pass and asked me, in
an obvious trying to be deliberatly offensive way, "Don't you think you've had
enough?" *as I was walking with my cup of tea* & "what the fuck's a Drew Rivers?"
(I guess this guy was a local) everyone was just so friendly and made
me feel more welcome than I have ever felt, you are all fantastic people
and I loved every minute of being with you all!

It was great to see some of the bands and some for the first time, I'd never
had the pleasure of Stevie and his mandolin before but that guy is just pure
awesome, if you're reading this mate, I absolutly loved jamming with you and
especially passing your mandolin back and forth outside singing songs. It was
definitly an experience to watch Huw on friday night with General Skullduggery
bouncing around in what can only be described as a leopard suit with bunny ears!
Had a great time watching and chatting with the Almaboobies.... I want one!
I quite liked that unknown band on saturday night, the alcohol-free Beer Monsters?
they were ok...ish, hehe, no, in all seriousness, I would like to thank both
Huw & Robin for making this weekend possible by providing the ride and the
tent, I couldn't have done this without you, you were stars! ;) Even if one
of them did forget the MIXING DESK!!!

and i must admit that teh Doughboys were fantastic

Sir, you flatter me! We bloody well loved playing to you guys and it was a
pleasure to meet you Yoda, just wish I'd got more time with you but I went
into hiding after dedicating 'Gaybar' to Paul the Stall and basically calling him
a poofter! :D That'll serve him right for his threats of Gaffa-Tapery!

Creature, you saw how fooked I was by the end of saturday night, in fact
I think it was quite obvious, it was the first time I'd been camping since I
was eight, I was freezing cold, I was stiff and sore all over, I had a splitting
headache and yet, I was happier than I'd ever been, you really have to do
this again next year as I would happily feel like that again for you!

You really are a credit to us all Creature & when all the final figures come in...
win, lose or draw, you're a winner in my books as you created something
bloody amazing this weekend and I for one salute you!

Speaking of my back end.... I am now the owner of ANOTHER new rear tyre after the last one disintegrated itself.... Andy noticed a load of cracks appearing on one side yesterday on the way home, and by today they were on both sides..... So it has been replaced!

Now I've got to ride carefully for another 100 dry miles!

It feels a bit funny under braking now... is that normal with a new rear tyre?
