yep a weird ending indeed (just playing it again ..it is so much easier 2nd time around :) )
did you suss out the bit where you had to set the mobile guns around and kill all the oncoming guards
....

the secret i found was to carry one of the guns with you and it would fire automatically as soon as someone come near (and you got to preserve your precious ammo)

Nah! I found a different method! I set the guns up in a cell with only one on the outside near the entrance, blocked one of the entrances with barrels and stuff so they had to come up the passage way facing a gun turret! then I hid in the cell and waited for em to come! and come they did! I just waited till the shouting was over and stepped out over the corpses! hehehe! The last bit had me foxed for a while! Couldnt figure out how to stop the bloke from reaching the top of the tower thing! Well cool game though! many memorable momments! Specialy the bit where I climbed into a crane and dropped a big container on the combine forces! Sqish! squish! sqish! Oh how I laughed! :D Anyway! its back to Vampire redemption now! hahaha! :o Mmmwahahah! (well, till friday when Battle for Middle Earth comes out)! :o

ive finished HL2 aswell. A cool thing i found while on the second time round (still am) is near the beginning, wheres lined of them suck things at once, theres usually a explosive barrel nearby, so push it downhill, let them pick it up, and empty a couple of rounds into it (so it lights) itll go bang when it reaches top and clears most of the line 4 u :)

im also finding killing manhax with a crowbar pretty fun :)

Ahhhh! manhax! Festidious little buggers! I prefare using the gravity gun on em meself! (saves ammo!) Wish i had one o those sand buggy things! :o I`ve heard you can drive one of the strider things in Anticitizen! didnt manage to find a drivable one meself! Anyway! while I`m on the subject!...FLATOUT! wot a game! Best drivin game I ever played! Good for getting a bit of angst out! :p
