Bought a new laptop from Staples, only 330 quid! Wifi an' everyfink!Even bought a new all singing n' dancing wifi printer! The pooter's got Windows Vista! Will any software work with it? No!
I'ts taken me three weeks to get back on line, and then it took the the IT guy at work 2.5 hours to set it up! Can get on the net, but if a link is opened in a new window the explorer crashes and restarts. Its real pain, sometimes!
But at least I can sit out of the way in comfort and not have loads of wires everywhere!

Vista is so new nothing seems to work with it unless it's been directly support by Microsoft! Now there's a surprise!
I hate vista, I tried it and its a nightmare, I have to use windoze XP on this laptop cos of the software I have to use, but tuther machines have linux.

We got vista on our laptop and I don't like it. Just when you get used to the user interface Micro$oft have been developing for 10 years, they go and change it. Arseholes.
With a certain amount of prodding and poking you can get it to look alomost normal, but IE7 still sucks.

Been using Vista Enterprise Edition at work since it came out last year and yes it doesn't work with a lot of things, even Microsoft's own tools, but so far it's never crashed on me. It needs bucketloads of memory and a dual core processor to work quickly so as a result I'm not letting it anywhere near any of my machines at home until I build a media centre and then I'll give it a try to see if it really is as good as it is supposed to be for that
