pinrut has only been here a few months and this morning on his way to school 4 older kids (not in school uniform so probably a lot older than him) decided to terrorise him so much that some kind wifey took him home to look after him till we got there

trouble was she rang the school who then took nearly two hours to phone me...!!!!

poor kid

he's not small either, bigger than me and most of his mates in height and breadth

but 4 of them?

he is shy and quiet but he can look after himself

am gonna lie in wait for them and hopefully catch them so i can show em what real pain is

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Pinrut I can't give you advice, that takes a grown up but I do know that bullies make you miserable.

Probably no good telling you not to worry about em, cos you will. Just use your loaf where you can to keep yourself safe and trust me, your time will come.

p.s don't keep anything from your parents, they sometimes know stuff!

had a similar problem with little Monkey yesterday! Some Chav scumbag lad and his mates who`s had been bullying Little Monkey who`s 15 when she walked up the road with her friend. Me and Mrs monkey paid him and his parents a visit last night! A few choice words were exchanged and I have no doubt the little scumbag will not go near her again! :D

bullies, by definition are cowards who can only make up for the inadaqcies ? in their own sad little lives by trying to intimidate others. stand up to them and they soon back off.

Bastards!!! I just don't know what's going on these days, I'm glad my kid's grown up because I would worry constantly about what was going on in school. I never got bullied in school, my theory was jump on them the minute they look at you funny and they and no one else will ever do it again - seemed to work both for me and the sprogg. I remember getting a phone call from sproggs school saying please can you come to the school as your son has punched another boy in class (in front of the teacher, ff's). Sprogg said this boy had threatened him once in the playground and had just whispered to him in class that him and his mates would get him later so sprogg lamped him there and then, it worked tho' the little brute never came near him again!
It does worry me that four big lads will pick on one small one though, those type of kids needs a stern warning from a group of grown up bikers if you know what I mean and have the **** scared out of them so they don't try it again!

All bullies are wankers. They should bring back the stocks for the little gits, rotten fruit supplied free from Ewokandtucks charity bins.....

have now persuaded pinrut to take up boxing

he wants to join the army REME so needs to get fit anyway

the size he is now he'll be like jonah lomu (sp?) after a few training sessions..!

then the bullies can look out

mind I did read a thing in the paper yesterday about a 6'7" 16 stone 15 year old rugby player who got bullied so much he left school and studies at home

apparently all the lads wanted to fight him because he was so big - so they could look hard in front of their mates

but because this lad wanted a good career (army or police or summat) he wouldn't fight back cos he knew he'd win but then he'd prob have GBH on his record or summat and wouldn't be able to do his career

seems like you can't win eh? :(

i been saying the same thing to doro, get all the little ****es, put them in the stocks in the middle of the town centre on a saturday so all their chav mates can see what being a wanker really looks like

at the risk of upsetting someone, or everyone and I certainly don't want Pinrut to get the wrong idea here cos he's probably feeling grim.

I reckon most of us have been bullied at some time, to varying degrees I am sure. Some of these poor kids that get such stick, it ruins their lives or in some cases pushes them to suicide, well thats pretty extreme stuff and my god no-one deserves that.

BUT I reckon being bullied actually had some positive effects on me, namely preparing me for the real world when I left school and teaching me that when I eventually had the bollocks to stand my ground, even the 'Big-Boys' weren't SO cocky any more. It's almost like a bit of a disaster in your life, has the power to bring out some good bits of you.

I did read somewhere that bullies have very often been bullied themselves and when I think back, real hard, I remember taunting the kid with the snotty nose - I wonder what he's doing now?

Doro

I was bullied Jay and I reckon 90% of bullies do it to make themselves look good in front of their mates

Gypsy
10-12-2004, 12:41 PM
yeah i was bullied too (not surprising i hear you say lol) i got round it by lashing out at everyone (not saying it was the correct way) , used to find some kid much bigger than me and knock the seven shades out of him

Jay

I reckon you are right Doro, most of 'em are just trying to impress someone.

The first time I stood up to a bully was at secondary school and it was nothing to do with me.

A lad nick-named JINXY (cos everything he touched turned to ****e) was receiving his usuall abuse on the way to PE. I stepped in and told the kids to leave him alone and pick on someone their own size, which they did by stabbing me in the thigh with a pair of scissors.

I confess that put me off standing up for meself for a bit, but sadly I bear grudges and some years later in a pub I politely persuaded him to apologise SINCERELY for that in front of his mates.

These experiences affect you and you can't change that, I am not a hard bloke. I love to get on with people and I am not known for starting trouble - perhaps thats a good thing - maybe I'm just a wuss.

My 3 year old son has been coming home from playgroup telling us that 'I don't like Sammy - he hurts me'.....3 years old, we spoke to the people that run the place and it turns out that this 'Sammy' has some severe problems with anger and stuff, he's only 4 so quite what we do about that i don't know.

I've worked with people who like to bully their staff, played rugby with 10 other bullies and my wife usually manages to get what she wants.....yep this certainly is a big part of our lives.

Jay

Thats a natural reaction see, take it out on someone else, we've all done it.

I've been on the receiving end of that, I'm not a small chap and many a situation has arisen where someone wants to take 'The Big UN' down. Like I said I aint a fighter and this does serve to P**s me off when I'm just trying to enjoy me pint or whatever.

I bet if you ask ANYONE, they can remember a time where they have been bullied.

Oh and a bit of advice for Pinrut and his boxing, if he's a good sized lad the chances are he'll want to throw the haybailer as his preferred delivery, he needs to concentrate on his jab.

Mad Jnr was bullied at school so we took him out and taught him at home but the little gits used to come round the house mob handed and cause aggro .I don't agree with smackin kids but when they smack you you have to show 'em the way to a&e ,they don't like it then they run to plod who arrests you
