Some preplanning going on the BBQ.
Just to get some idea on who will be making it.
For those who don't kow, heres the scoop:
It is a full family do, kids are more than welcome, Cost is £5 per adult, ALL of which goes to the kennels greyhound rescue. This is in exchange for the liberal use of the field.
We ask that you bring some drink and some food, either for the grill or a side dish. It all goes into the middle and everyone takes as they please.
I will be making my usual, Home made BBQ sauce, homemade Chilli, shredded beef, beans, pasta salad, not to mention chicken, ribs, burgers and dogs (and you HAVE to try a chilli dog with MY chilli ;) )
Music will be spun by me, but you are welcome to bring your own and make requests. As there are no neighbouring houses we can go as loud and long as we like. We have fairly large dance tent and it always seems to go on well.
Bonfire for those who like to sit round and natter
The Friday night is like a preparty, all are welcome but is is fairly uncatered. Saturday is the do. Morning coffee and eats are not provided but we do share what we have.
Dates are 29 June as set up and pre party
30 June, full on
1 July, sort of recover and clean up
All held at Jarrett Hills kennels, on Jarrett hills lane, south cave
