Looks like one that one of our customers in Derby was restoring.
He did a disc brake conversion on it, better than the brakes that were fitted as standard (worse than a harley! )

Naa, it was brilliant - three gears, no throttle (just a governer), no brakes (okay, that was a bit scary), great piece of kit. :D

Given your propensity for dropping every bike you ride, Nik, I'm surprised they let you have a go.......... :D

Did it run on peanut oil ... ?

Been wondering about that , seeing it was the last conversation I can remember clearly before the virus hit me at the Bum in the Mud .

Hi mate, I remember it too. Virus? Beer flu? :D

Naa, it uses propane to run the gas burner to keep the glow plug hot, but it runs on ordinary unleaded. :)

Nope viral gastric enteritis .... managed to ride home to Derby feeling crap and had the ****s before I left , got to about 10 ish sunday night and the flood gates opened both ends. ended up in A&E after collapsing in front of paramedics who got called out by the other half when it was clear it wasn't going to stop.

wandering around now in a lot of pain, amazing the muscles you can pull when trying to turn yourself inside out with dry heaves... what was the other conv we had about aches and pains at rallies ? :)

Cheers guys, feeling much bettre now, but the pulled muscles are making Into The Valley look like a non-starter this year.

It hurts when i sneeze cough or laugh... not even attempted to try and find out how much it hurts to try and ride the Beemer.

I was told I was the fourth person admitted with the virus on Sunday night in Derby and I had picked it up in Essex. Chances are it will surface up there so anyone going to ITTV take some imodium with you to make sure you can get home !
