Little Sam asked his dad for a bike at Christmas.
Dad explained that the house cost £240k.The £860 a month mortgage was crippling him and mum so bad they would have to have beans on toast for Christmas dinner, and he would be lucky to get a jigsaw puzzle.
A couple of days later dad finds Sam sitting at the bottom of the stairs with his bag packed.
What's going on here he asks.
Well says little Sam, it's like this.
Last night I was lying in bed, and couldnt sleep cos I was thinking about the bike I want...
I heard you tell mum it was all over and you were pulling out, she said don't pull out yet cos she was coming...
Well if you think I'm being left here with a £860 a month mortgage and no bike for Christmas you can both feck off...:D
