Can't just leave the poor guy to rest in peace can they?
Probably the usual "it's a big bike so he must have been going fast"
Aint it funny at times like these paople come on and say 'my cousin/brother/neighbour/bloke from down the road' was at the scene therefore \I know the score!!!!!
At the end of the day, a life has been lost, a family are with out a loved one, and a driver has this memory to live with for the rest of his life.
I wouldn't point the finger at anyone. Bloody terrible for all involved......... :(
My thoughts are with the biker, his family and the poor bloke who was driving the car.
As for Valley Girl, what a twat!...........

what a bloody tragedy. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
I'd like to slap the valley girl round the head. if the driver of the car was an off duty pig, he was bound to say it was the motorcyclists fault by 'he must have been doing 120, so it was'nt my fault sarg', if he was doing 120 I doubt the car driver would be in any fit state to say anything. sounds like passing the buck to someone who can't speak for themselves now. anyway even if it were true, that post was way off side when it was inevitable that it may be read by the family. she should keep her thoughts and gossip to herself.

heck shaggy never thought about that. yeah if the fuzz says he was doing 120 his insurance will be void. dont bear thinking about does it especially with his kiddies and another on the way. but thats typical of the cops - anything to wriggle out of something.

This was a tragic accident by an ex police officer who clipped his motorcyle

I have no Idea if he has any connections to the club , maybe coincidence, but its is very sad. I will endeavour to find out. its the speed speculations that pisses me off, valley girl obviously Jumped on the bandwagon, but didnt think of the consiquences her actions may bring.

Maybe she likes to indulge in a bit of shít stirring? who knows?
Let's not lower ourselves to that level, we are better than that. The plod will investigate and the truth will come out eventually. His family will then be able to move on and he can rest in peace.

Sad to say I have no faith whatsoever that the truth will come out via the filth. I know of a few people now who've been stitched up on due care and attention charges and the like for accidents that clearly weren't their fault.

Some people refuse to believe that no blame can lay with the biker for an accident. A friend of mine nearly died 2 years ago when a Fastrack towing a grain trailer pulled out without looking - he's battled thru forensics and tainted eye witness reports for all this time. Finally got to court last week and to his surprise the tractor driver (who was only 17 at the time) 'fessed up - couldnt take the guilt anymore and just came straight out with it. STILL some folk cant believe it wasnt the biker's fault in some way. What can you do? *shrug* :(
Condolences to his family.
Lets let it lie for the moment I'm sure his family dont want 'other' people speculating about his death at this time.
Lets wait and see.
On the 'pigs and truth' thing, I once ran into the back of a police car that pulled out into Nine elms lane without looking, they stated I must accelerated hard away from the lights must have been doing at least 60 when I ran into the back of them. No other witnesses, I broke my arm.
In court I thought I was fucked (only 17 at the time) when the magistrate asked how they had estimated my speed only he had rode the same model bike and was amazed it had managed to to reach that speed.
It was a 1968 Bantam..... case for the defendant! £435 damages.
And constantly pulled over for the next 2 years......

Bet we could have a good thread on our gripes with the police. Perhaps it would be good to start one and leave this thread for condolences about this poor guy and his family
