Just had some **** news
1 of our club members was involved in a crash this morning
on his way to work during the early hours.
From what I understand he has some nasty injuries.
So far its 2 breaks in his neck, 1 in his back, a broken wrist
and a big blow to his head. He has been concious at times but
is very ill.
I hope to fuck he's gonna be alright.

Sorry to post such a downer of a thread but
you all know that sick, helpless feeling you get
when a friend is badly injured.

Good news :D
Although he's not completely out of the woods yet he is on the road to recovery.
He has regained conciousness and has movement in all the right places
There is talk of him having an operation on his back early this week
and he may be fitted with one of those head cage thingies ( :D ).
Its just a matter of healing then.

A big thanks to everyone for posting on this thread
the mesages have been passed on.

Brought back a lot of memories this thread has, Freak. I broke my back in an accident a couple of years ago and I fully understand what your mate is going through. Please pass on my best wishes to him and his family.

Hope all goes well,, positive vibes for your m8 freak,,most of us (older ones)have experienced some kind of serious accident, or known someone who has and know the rollercoaster of emotions that go along with it,, keeping positive and supportive is the only way...

Best Wishes

Hope your mate is not in too much pain and has a speedy recovery. Good to hear he's conscious now and wiggling toes etc. Sounds like the worst has been avoided.
