I went on one of my events last weekend. Very near Leek in some hilly area. Lovely ride once I got off the A50 but some many bloody speed cameras and most two up (50mph zones)....
Got up early saturday morning and decided to pop to the local town (Leek), for a couple of things. I was making my way out of town and I spy a set (two up) of speed cameras (Never understood that as two tickets would count as one offence and therefore the second is invalid), look down at speedo and see I'm doing 00mph....apsolutely nothing on the speedo cause the bloody cable had come out....
Anyway I had my sat nav set to speedo at the time so I was lucky, got back to the camp site and checked that nothing else was falling off...
Good job too... Bloodly exhaust bracket was coming off because the two bolts that held it on had disenaged. Spent an hour messing about in the most awkard positions to get the thing back on including borrowing tools from a couple of friends (the only tool I didn't have on the bike and I just had to need it...).
So lessen to learn... Aways check everything over if your dealer does any work on your bike.!!!
