Wot fettl all, peace, love, pink plumptiousness and blessings to all of you biker bros n sistas "oot theor"...............
I am feeling ever so, ever so proud tonight as I just got back from visiting my daughter in law and holding in my arms for the first time, my brand new, (not exactly squeaky clean but its a new born baby goddammit!!!!) grandaughter.........all six pounds of her.
I'll tell ya this hard nosed, cynical, grumpy, ever so easily pissed off these days ol' barstool had a tear in his tired old eyes and a lump in the throttle region as I held this little bundle of love...........
We had an inkling that today would be launch day as Jools had been complaining of pains in the region of the unmentionables for a couple of days and her "plug" (whatever the hell that is .......n' I think I don't wanna know really,) came away yesterday.
After going into labour at about 02.30 hours, we got a phone call from number two stepson to ask at 07.00 hours if mum would help to sort out the kids (two more grandaughters) as the contractions were coming every fifteen minutes.........."DON'T PANIC...........DON'T PANIC" sez I ever so calmly as I tried to put my boxers on back to front and get both legs down one leg of me strides...........eventually got meself sorted out to find my lovely missus washed, dressed, make up on, hair combed and ready to rock and roll......me? I could'nt find me specs............then I could'nt find the bloody car keys.........Dear oh dear oh dear...........I'm getting too old for this kinda **** at that time in the morning.
My good lady wife decided it best if I stopped at home n went to work whilst she mustered the cavalry and sallied forth to do battle bless her......so I did..........
Anyrode, it was touch n go apparently as Jools "waters broke" what ever the hell that means (summat to do with Noah I guess but I could be wrong ) in the car on the way to the hospital (where's that bugger Barry Scott when you want him eh??........Cillit Bang my arse............) n the doorman at the Maternity Ward barely had time to grab a trolley, park Jools on it when WHOOPS A DAISY ........OH BUGGER..........MEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and there she was, Caitlin, naked and unadorned, making her debut on the world stage and into this mad, mad world that is the present day legacy of that nice Mr Blair and his politically correct Civil Rights champion of the under class missus...........but I digress..............
Soooooooooo, I've had a sherbet or two, strictly medicinal you unnerstand, would have had a spliff but gave up the weed n stuff about two months ago on the advice of my doc bless his heart (and mine apparently......) and everything is ever so rosey in the Ever Ready world tonight and I love EVERY GODDAMM ONE OF YIZ!!!!!!!!!!
So, raise your glasses with auld Ever Ready and join me in a toast to Caitlin Ever Ready Williss, all six pounds of the little darlin, wishing her long life and happiness..............Can't wait till she's big enough to get behind auld gramps n go for a blast through the lanes n byways of auld Oxfordshire.
Oh n by the way, the Ignitor box is the cause of me Intruder's non starting problems.........my biker bro mechanic n spanner man has sent it off for repair......that was three weeks ago...........I reckon he sent it Japan by pedalo post meself............so I am still pedestrian n hating it, although I am hopig to pick up a second hand low mileage 2.2l Primera turbo fuel injection diesel on friday.........Well at my age you gotta have summat to play with n I got bored with playing wif /by meself like...........
Now, where's the missus put the bleach? I got a car passenger seat n footwell to try and clean up before tomorrow mornin'............
