That's the place - It's much better when we've got the whole pub - Honest!!
We call it "Intimate and cozy". - Give it a whirl, it was a blast last time - not many "civillians", just bikers and trikers. :D :D

The street you parked on is usually fairly empty before 9.00, and as a number of our members are from that neck of the woods, nobody will touch anything parked there.

We're currently talking with the owners of the local Social cub - decent size room with a proper stage, a car park and even a lawn to camp on.

Sticking point is who pays the bands. The landlord at The Flag is footing that bill, which is why we're having the party there - we don't want to have to charge entry to pay for the bands, cos we aint running it to make money, just to meet folks and have a good night out.

Why not just put a bucket on the door, people can then trow in some change, and ya can pay the bands that way ?

Thanks for the idea, Spike. Only problem I can see there is we have to agree a fixed fee for the band, and there's always a chance we wouldn't get enough "donations".
Plus it ties folks up that should be busy partying!!
We don't want anyone to feel as though they're obliged to make any contribution at this stage, as we're trying to get something successful off the ground.
Last time we had people travel all the way from Cornwall, from Wales, Lincolnshire, and North Yorkshire. We try to find folks a place to doss, but it's not always possible, and a good number pay for B&B or hotels, so we don't want to add to their expenses if we can help it.
