Never met Maz, but like everyone, I'm sure he had his share of folks who didn't like him, as well as those who loved and respected him.
Myself, I try to show everyone the respect I'd like to recieve myself, even those I don't get on too good with - it costs nothing and eliminates a lot of hassle.
I'm no saint, and maybe I'm a bit naive, but I prefer to remember the good stuff about folks who are no longer with us.

Quite agree. I can quite understand UT's reaction, but it was obviously posted to provoke just such a response. It's no secret that Mutch and I don't get on, but he doesn't deserve any problems this might bring. Unfortunately I doubt it was 'spotty teenagers' - only people of a certain age would refer to Mr Hodge as 'Crazy Odge'.

Never knew the guy, but read a few articles of his. Intelligent, articulate and always intresting, the mark of a great writer. Couldn't access the site, so can't comment about insult, but would be more than suprised to find it was Mutchie. If the perp hasn't got the bottle to sign his real name on the post, then I definately think very little of their opinion.
