You could also try Uncle Bucks in Beccles Suffolk he does not specialise in Harleys but he did have a glide in recently put the engine in his chop :D

I got a fairing for my 1500 Drifter off US Ebay a couple of years ago. It's similar to a Harley Batwing but came off an old 70's Kawasaki. It mounts on the handlebars and came with all fittings in as new condition so was an easy fit (I think the HD ones mount to the forks so might need some bracketry made up to suit).

I had it painted to match my bike and wouldn't be without it now - brill protection from wind and rain and I think it looks cool. I've also now fitted a car stereo & a pair of speakers (tape as when I tried CD they kept skipping with the vibrations) :D :D

If you click on this link http://uk.photos.yahoo.com/apachedrifter and go to the album entitled New Paint there are some photos of it there before fitting and after paint and fitting.

Mick

I kept mine the original Maroon colour (Kawasaki call it Deep Gooseberry) and had a mate spray some silvery white panels on the side of the tank and the tops of the mudguards to break up the dark colour. He sprayed the fairing to match and gave the whole lot a coat of clear lacquer. £160 which I thought was a fair price.

I've got a set of Krauser panniers and a topbox now that he's going to spray for me to match. I'll be able to fit these on when going on trips etc. , but like it without them for general riding.
