Oil, Filter, Plugs, Air filter, thats the easiest to start with

I take it you're talking about your new bike...
Well check the plugs..that indicates what the engine is like...
test the compression to see if you have ring or valve problem
check for oil leaks usually around the gearchange..if none
Drain the oil..if it's filthy..engine flush..new oil
gear oil
Remove brake shoes and renew if worn
Battery..Check level (if it's not Gel)
How does the clutch feel...easy to replace clutch plates if needed..
Running smoothly if not clean the carbs, fuel tank, tap and air filter
How far do you want to go
chain, sprockets, might as well give them a look for wear and tension
Got a compression tester here if you want me to do it for you when you pick it up..or they are very cheap to buy..about £10-£15

I would suggest you go and have a wash.............. withdraw some money from the bank...................... and find yourself a "lady of the night".
A good one should be able to give you a good "service" for less than you might think! :eek: :rolleyes: :D
