Just had the call come through....

Stevie has collected his bike!!!! Only took two years of waiting..
He's probably not been on to say anything cos he's in the garage playing 'vroom vroom' and polishing it!

Two years to the day it went to the builder it was finished - that was Monday. It arrived home today with it's MOT. I've got a couple of things to do before I get it on the road proper - I've had a quick blat up an' down the side road jus' to see how it is, it'd 've been rude not to y'know.

Worth the wait ? you ask.

Well, up 'til a month or so ago I would have said no, 'cos I was really fcuked off at how long things were takin'. Now it's home all that's in the past. I'm not goin' to dwell on the downside, 'cos I don't have to (and don't want to) anymore. All I want to do is get out there an' enjoy my ride again.

Yes it did take a long time, but as far as I'm concerned it looks fantastic. An' it sounds bloody great. Sooty, Andy and Paul have all done a fantastic job on the bike I've owned for the last twenty-one years. I thought it was twenty-three years but I checked the docs - mind you, I keep thinkin' I'm 45 so that's where the two extra years come into it maybe.

Right, I'm off to get some dinner cooked for the missis an' kids then I'm gonna spend some time playin' 'vroom vroom' an' maybe get the brakes bled.
