They used to call Lord Of the Rings the Hippies Bible! Havin been Born at the begining of the sixties I sort of lived through that era.. although I was only 10 when it ended! never the less I have sort of lived my life according to the moral code set out there in! One of the over riding messages set out in LOTR is the message of never giving up hope in the face of adversity! Well! knock me down with a wet fish! Guess wot! Some of you may have peroused a thread of mine a while ago where i bemoaned my fate after losing my "Ring of Barahir" (Aragorns Ring) at a party just two days after recieving it in the post from legends-online (An exellent site for stuff from the movies) And breaking me next door neighbours very expensive leaded window which I have just paid for (£250). Well, after a week of legendary hardship and woe added to by me suffering with flu and picking up a £60 parking fine (for parking on a yellow line ON A FUCKIN PARKIN LOT! (which I had paid a ticket for)! And thinkin wot a ****e birthday I`ll have tomoz! My mate txt me this morning whilst i was dying in bed with a world of trouble on me furry shoulders! HE`s FOUND ME RING IN THE BACK OF HIS VAN! HOW feckin COOL IS that! Suddenly the world is bright again and me colds even better! I even get paid tomoz! Mrs Monkey has bought me a new hat (same as the one I lost at a different party)! I really do believe Tolkien is sitting up there somewhere looking down on his devotees and he took out his pipe blew a big smoke ring into the clouds and said.....This monkey has suffered enough...give him his ring back for he has kept his faith :) Thankyou Proffessor! :o
