Hi again guys, surprised no trikers in Scotland but it's good to be unique!!
LoL
Just a question then?
I have a trike with a "solid" back axle mounted on the bikes original swinging arm and although this gives a certain bit of suspension my wife complains that when one wheel goes over a bump in the road the whole back end tilts over, unlike the bike where it would just bounce up and down.
My question is, does a trike with full independent suspension on the rear wheels still suffer from this or as I suspect does the wheel going over the bump take the hit and the trike does not tilt as much.
I'm trying to decide whether to get a new trike with independent suspension or a conversion or should I just put arm rests on her seat to stop her toppling out, she's only 4ft 9ins!!
Any thoughts on this will be gratefully received
Thanks
Alex

a properly setup and sprung/damped etc IRS rear end would ride far far better

just buy her a big cushion, that way she gets some comfort on her bum and gets to see over your head and see where your going :)

dont worry not being funny, my missus is 4'7" :)

Here's the safety rail on my trike...

It was put on by the previous owner who's missus was a "shortie" and it saved her from falling off when pissed and tired after a rally.

I just left it on as it helps keep my rally gear from falling off....:)
