Yesterday, I drove past a garage in Rampton, a little village in Cambs, selling petrol at 85.9p a litre (95RON) If this carries on, I'll be walking past it soon!
What's petrol prices like round your way?

On telly this morning they showed a garage in Marlborough at 92p a litre, I'd support another fuel demo.

Bout the same as you, I saw on the news this morning some places are charging 95-109p a litre the thieving sods!!! Thank God for motorbikes, I don't think we can afford to drive our car every day any more!!!! At this rate I'll be riding my son's 125cc all the time just for economy. Just imagine we'll all be turning up at rallies on a motley selection of chopped rat mopeds while petrol prices soar to 200p litre and beyond - a motley selection of mad max look alikes.
Oh dear I've lost touch with reality again, I'm off to lie down :)

Isn't she just - if I had her money I'd be off to BUPA for a bit of a nip and tuck. Got to make a bit of an effort if you've got a youthful husband :)

What pisses me off is the governments 'it's not our fault this time' attitude!!
Yes we know it's partly to do with the 'middle east' problems.... that means the war, what I want to know is why is that not their fault? if they hadnt backed the bloody maniac that runs America then maybe we wouldnt have a middle east crisis!!
Our fuel is taxed higher than almost anywhere else in the world so hows about our government lowers the tax to level out the costs???
American is also stockpiling oil incase the situation 'gets worse' and stocks are cut off or seriously lowered, are they going to share at 'cost' with their allies, are they buggery!! Makes my blood boil....

The prices are also going up in the states, petrol has gone up by 25% in the last two weeks and they are still moaning that they are havin to pay a quid a gallon. I did hear today though that the pound has dropped against the dollar and should hold a big increase of for a while.

Drove through Birmingham City Centre today in the wifes mini (borrowed it to go and fetch a new tank before you all take the p**s) and its 85.9 pence per litre.Glad I didn't need any today though. You only have to pull up at a junction in a car and the little bas***ds are faster than Schumachers pit crew

The Local garages round here on the Broads are about 85.9p cos of the holiday trade! Go to Yarmouth or Norwich and expect to pay about 80.9p!
Chris, your local service station aint Fourways is it? Used to do a night service job there for a few months! Served one geezer there, and when I put his fags in the tray with his change, aand pulled back the lid, he promptly threw up onto his fags and change! I maded the bugger fish 'em out before I had to clean it out!
I had five drive- offs while I cleaned out the puke!
