if anyone has ever used gold leaf
then you know that firstly it's expensive and dam fiddly to use
even the false gold stuff.
i've heard of a gold leaf vinyl
that sounds like it would be a better alternative.
i have to do some celtic design work on a fibeglass trike body for a customer.
so anyone know where i could get the stuff.
my local vinyl supplier does'nt do it??
thank you
Mitch

We use gold leaf at work, and yes it is damn fiddely. Of late the Estee Lauder counters have switched from using gold leaf on the graphics, to moongold two pack spray, which is highly toxic by the way. I will get Jacqui our order clerk to ring around today to see if she can find a supplier of gold leaf vinyl. Will get back to you on this one as soon as I have an answer. :)

From what I understand an example of "bling" would be one o them pimps what walks around dripping in gold and furs, who makes you blind every time he smiles. Puff Daddy looks "bling" a lot - always going around with gold hanging out of every orifice. Posh Spice likes to think she's bling but bling doesn't do stick on legs - it's more of a voluptous thing!!!!!
Something bedecked in gold jewellery and generally over the top!

Right, as far as our order clerk can find out, there is a vinyl that is a copy of goldleaf, and she is getting a sample sent to work for my perusal, if its a good match to our old graphics I'll let you know and get the sample to you.
i believe it was Doro tapes in Northampton that she is getting the sample off. :)

i can now tell my customer (who is very very high up in the inland revenue)
that mitch thinks he's a voluptious pimp covered in gold :D :D :(

"Bling bling"
Rapper talk for the OTT gold chains, teeth, Merc wheels, bathroom fittings they tend to find "tasteful".
Take it you never watch MTV????????

lol blackjack hi
i am perfecting my occ skills
so i'm getting a load of things triple chrome plated then i'm gonna drill and grind them.
and i'm going to buy a revtech 100cuin engine and grind and weld right next to it.
at the moment i'm filing off the threads on the ramps front wheel clamp so that customers bikes fall off it.
will i become as famous as occ do you think?
or just end up in casualty waiting for my morphine pain relief?
take care blackjack hope you healing fast
