not sure if this would be the right place for this thread. sorry if its not.
ok i know its a bit of a longshot.
im after the only pic of me and my family together. its in bsh but i dont know what issue. but can narrow it down a bit.
it was taken in 86,87 or possibly 88. the pic is me my dad and mom sat on his bonnie, we was at the top section of the site opposite the stalls. i know there was a wall in font of us (think we was parking there). i was only about 13 i think. i would be realy gratefull if any one could find the picture in the mag and either email the pic or i,ll gladly by the mag of you. or you could just tell me the issue number.
and if the guy who took the picture is on here, then thanks loads.
extremely gratefull contail.
im after some more pics but i,ll leave that for a futer date.

good luck with the hunt. I would normally suggest you contact BSH but i believe they lost a load of archive material in a fire , however theres a few in here still have all the issues from then.

I will ask my Hubby-he used to help organise FYP around that time & took a lot of photos himself
Blue may be able to confirm, but I think Odgie used to do articles for FYP in those days?
I can have a quick look through phils photos to see if you are on any of them-but if you can post a photo of what you looked like at that time it would certainly help matters

I don't know if you'll ever be able to get the original pic, because, IIRC, there was a fire at the place where the BSH archive was held. However, I've got one hell of a lot of back issues of BSH, so I'll drag 'em out tonight and have a look for you :) I can always scan it in for you.

remember that FYP is always in June, so it will probably be in either the august or september issue
may cut the search down a bit!
or maybe you want to trawl through them all :D
Be worth checking the small-ads in BSH, always somebody selling off their collection.
ps- must be one of these... (http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=back+street+&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sadis=200&fpos=dn3+2at&ga10244=10425&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&seller=1&sass=loopy37&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=)
Ade, I'll have a look through the back issues for you as soon as I can and see if I can at least identify the issue. We're on deadline so it might be a couple of days.

Hi Contail, have a look at the pics HERE (http://s72.photobucket.com/albums/i179/womble_lancs/Misc/) and tell me if any of them look like the one you're trying to find.
I can't find any more 1980s issues relating to the Farmyard or the East Yorks Demo :(

Ian Mutch took the Photos
he may or may not have the original photo Contail
may be worth asking him
but he will need exact BSH magazine date & also FYP year.
Funny how I know a lot of the faces on the other issues-Dave Ramsden & Bunty dancing
I do miss those easy basic FYP days at the old site
Ho Hum-never to be again(neither will I get any younger :D )

oh dam. names dont ring a bell. but i did do most of the rallies and meetings ect up that way with neil andrews (feaces). as a kid i was always helping at mag central, folding all the original mag news and brochures and putting them into envelopes for the members. i even sold 5 bundles of magnews at the south west custom show. some one told me they were 20p so i sold them. then neil told me they were free, so i had to put the money in donations.(oops gone of the point here).
as for east yorks. ide probably remember faces. its been a long time

yep just tried it. in fact it seems bigger than usual. think some one may of washed it behind my back. the badges arent in the right place, hope they stuck there finger (bludy ex). there was years of sick, rally food, blood and beer ( newky brown) on it. ide love to know when they added the diced carrots to newky brown.

My mum washed mine :( But she did a far more heinous crime than that. I came home one day and she said "I've scrubbed all that scrawl off the back of your leather jacket..."
That 'scrawl' was Bruce Dickinson's autograph. Waaaaahhhhhh!
