Not knowing the diversity of the members on this 'ere forum – do any of you live in Kent, near Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells? (and the wider area?) or some where central to Kent, Surrey and Sussex

If so, can you please help, I need a venue for the South East MAG AGM and I seem to have struck out. The best contender, where we held a recent MAG seminar has put his prices right up - he now wants £150, just for the hire of the room, without food or anything (considering how much we spent over the bar over that weekend, he ought to be fugin' ashamed of himself, but there you go...)

We need somewhere that's got its own bar, that will have space for camping and has got a Music Licence as we aim to make it into a AGM/Party, with a band, the whole lot.

If anyone's got any ideas, please let me know

Cheers

Mitch

The large pub on the crossroads at Flimwell always used to be a good venue, with hall out the back. I don't know what its like now,as I'm a bit out of touch with the area these days, worth a try though!!

We've held rallies at Worthing rugby club in the past, might be a bit far south for what you are after though.

That's the thing, last year we had about 40 people turn out - considering it was a really crap February day in Hastings. I'll sending out the notices to the members in the next few days, including a flyer for our rock night at the Marina Fountain on July 3rd (more on that later).

I forgot to mention, affiliated clubs are entitled to a vote at the meeting as well.
