New bike, need to share........

Got bored and embarrassed not being able to keep up with the young whippersnappers off BCF..... :o

Naw, seriously. Fancied a change. The eliminator is still giving me reliability issues so it's going to be retired to the shed for the winter for a bit more work, especially on the carbs and airbox areas. Although the intention - and the cash - is still there to get the big Suzuki v-twin at some point next year I didn't want to buy a brand new shiny bike now and get it full of ****e or worse drop it :eek: by riding it thru the winter (I know I don't go out as much but I do still ride in the winter!) and having given it a test last week I have definitely outgrown the 250.

I thought a cheap runabout to give me chance to try out a different style of riding might be a bit of a challenge and also good fun, so I have been browsing for suitable bikes height-wise and came across this. Tried out a few others (400 Bandit v-tech, XJR400, Fazer400, XJ400 Diversion) but they were either too tall or just didn't feel as "right" as this one.

And it's purple and shiny........... ;)

Fair nuff, been contemplating going the other way myself, maybe getting the LTR bike sorted and watching the scenery go by a bit more.
