My best mate Mark Dinner (Shatterfoed mcc Chaurman) of which I was a member on & off since 1980 put me on to this site because of a comment from Happy Biker.. You don`t remember me do you Howard..Still got the zx10
I remember your crap jokes.What I am trying to do is make donations to charaties. Air ambulance & childrens charaties.Howard for some reason is under the impression I need to scam monies for my own pocket. Since I retrained as a plumber a few years ago I find this hard to believe.I own my own property (no feckin morgage) only have to work 3 days a week own 4 bikes & a limo.. Have a girl who looks like a model.. So please Howard befor you make slanderest remarks do your home work.. If you are the chap I remember from odball & shatterford rallies many years ago you appeared quite brite. If any one wants to check my honesty & sincerity of what I am doing feel free to contact me or Mark Dinner.

To be fair - if you suddenly receive an email out of the blue and don't know who or why, it makes you suspicious. Granted, I haven't seen the email, so don't know how much info you gave Howard.

I use Mailwasher, so I can leave anything I'm not sure about in limbo, whilst I check it out.

Hi everyone.
There has been nothing on any of the forums that I visit about this appeal and that would be the normal way to start asking as far as I am concerned. Some of you on here know that I can (and do) donate to good causes but for me to suddenly recieve 3 emails , 1 of which includes an attachment out of the blue and asking for donations , from somebody I don't know, makes me wary.

I posted on here to see if anyone else had been emailed. My apologies if I've upset anyone but unsolicited emails that ask for money are usually scams, so I wanted to make sure.

Why not post this appeal on the forums properly and target a bigger audience?

Don't know the full story obviously, and may well be wrong ..but don't blame happybiker a bit for asking questions , if hes got emails out of the blue asking him for donations.

Got to be fair here. Seems like Happybiker was only asking questions whilst rev Fordy seems to be protesting a bit to much for my liking. I mean what the hell is my girlfriend looks like a model and ive got a Limo all about? Couldnt give a flying toss to be honest, they neither make you or honest or bent. No Rev Fordy, im not saying your either, im saying i dont care what you own, it proves nothing. I actually posted the 'Scam?' as a question because I am puzzled about the way I recieved the emails and wondered if anyone else had recieved anything similar. I have now recieved a very abusive email containing foul language and threatening legal action against me. for 'deforming this gentlemans character'. Some people might even be able to deduce that threats of physical violence can be made from his words. If anyone wishes to see it I am more than willing to forward the email to anyone that wishes a view.

I must admit, I asked a question but I didn't anticipate such a reaction
