Thanks to the eagle eyed Minxy, Dark Mistress of Ebay, just got me some nackered GSXR1100 forks for £11.50.
Don't matter a monkeys that they're all fukt up, only use the bottom 6", the brake carrier part, hack it off, turn it down inside, and sleeve it over me turned down HD fork and graft it on.
Had an altercation with white van man couple years ago, and just cobbled an exhaust U-bolt onto me old 'uns as a mudguard support to keep me on the road, it did so i left 'em on.
Gotta figure now if i gonna adapt the yokes to take the fat Triumph forks i found to replace 'em, and make a clamp on mudguard mount for them, or remake some forks like wot i got now.
Probly go with making new uns, cos it's cool when folk ask me wot's me forks off of, and i can say i made 'em.
All good fun innit...

Me scabby old forks, wot i've run........Me Triumph T955 forks, wots
like this for three years;....................dead fat an 'ard.

That's a rather more appetising price than the last lot then Taff! Sounds like you've got yourself a custom project to get stuck into. :)

all the springs and guts (springs at minimum) as i doubt the RGV springs will hold the slabby up, i know fook all about damping so i spose i'll need the other stuff to control oil flow and rebound (gotta learn sometime) ....

no rush on the bits as i'm just collecting stuff atm and finances are slow right now (just had to pay bills :( ) ...

i'll leave it with you for now
Cheers

I work down Derby/Notts way on me.
Robbed some (cutlery) forks from the works canteen cos they had NCC stamped on 'em, Notts County Council.
Texed me mate from Chopper Club, telled him i'd come across a nice set of forks, no use to me cos they had NCC engraved on 'em, so i'd left 'em round his house.
Was Bank Holiday, he was out on a club run, called me names when he got back, said he'd sold 'em at least twice, and somebody knew who's they were, and were off a nicked NCC bike... :D :D
