I am building my own straight through exhausts for a trike xj900 engine,I am using 1 1/2" st/st tube, can I buy baffles that will fit in side and are there any other thing that I need to done.

Highway Hawk do baffles that would suit. I used them in my XJ 900 Diversion trike. They do two different types. I used the long ones 42 mm outside diameter. Not very expensive either. Not sure if the noise reduction would be enough for MSVA test though.
By the way what back axle did you use. how is the gearing.

i do the baffles referred to.
in 35-41-47mm all are 8" long they are chromed £7.50 each plus shipping

the 47mm x 8" is available unchromed at £5.50 each plus shipping

i'm always amazed to the effect my site can have on people. :eek:

you can pay by paypal,p.o. cheque.
and in a couple of days also via "nochex".
in the case of nochex there is no need to register before you can buy.

I used a sierra axle shortened the drive shafts fitted granada discs and independant suspension i dont know how the gearing is as I havent run it yet, it has took me 2 years to build and hope to have it running over christmas, taking it for the MSVA early next year
