These are forced to go due to severe cash restrictions

XJ 600 Sports Tourer
GS 550 Hard Tail Chopper
VF 700 Trike

XJ 600 is a very good runner and has been used daily for work etc.
Has new Motod full system & Air filter.
It still has short tax & test remaining but will require a little work for the next MOT. Right side indicator lens is damaged/missing. Right side fairing bracket is broken. Paintwork suffers from some scratches and scuffs. (Caused by backyard being down a bloody ally).
Looking a bit dusty now but cleans up really well !!! Offers over £500

Images can be seen at http://www.maxvista.com/xj600.htm (http://www.maxvista.com/xj600.htm)

GS550 Very quick, very low, very noisy !!! What more do you need !!!
Has new twin-head lights, new speedo & tacho, new flat bars, tyres are gell filled (Although the rear is flat because it has not been run enough to seal) new front mudguard & 4x KN air filters. There is little visible wiring, main wiring & ignition is under the king/queen seat.
No Tax or Test but only requires the rear brake sorting.
This would make a very-good winter project. The paint is rough (that's putting it mildly) Could do with a strip down & paint & rebuild to make this a very good-looking chop.
Comes with flat bars but I still have the hangers. Offers over £500

Images can be seen at http://www.maxvista.com/gs550.htm (http://www.maxvista.com/gs550.htm)

VF700 Trike is very very promising winter project. The trike is a professional build hard tail trike. Not a bolt on option. The trike is 99% complete and only requires shiny bits to finish!!
I have some images of this built (Until the engine started making noises after 56 miles !!!) and it really looks the part!!
New alloy wheels & Z rated low profile tyres. Found better engine that runs but not sure of its history. It has straight-through exhaust pipes so it is nice & loud !!
Requires to finish: engine fitting, seat repairing, headlights and some wiring, indicators, It could do with paint but looks fine as it is.
Comes complete but some bits ( foot rests etc) are in a box.
This trike needs registering as a trike hence offers over only £800 to shift!!

Images can be seen (As it was when the old engine was installed) at http://www.maxvista.com/vf700.htm (http://www.maxvista.com/vf700.htm)

I also have a grit basting cabinet that I need to shift. Big enough for most engines and comes complete with blasting spray gun & stand. £30.00 no offers

If you are interested in any of these Very Reluctant sales above then please ring me on 07866 946681 I am based in Grimsby, NE Lincs.

So where abouts in Sunny Scunny are you based ?

I used to work for a design agency at the Queensway Business Centre but I got fed up going back & forth to Grimsby ;o)

There used to be a few biker pubs around here but we seem to be a bit almost extinct now.

How recent is the pic of the chopper Gs550 m8 and what needs doing to it to get it through a test and is it a runner.

I'm interested in your chop. Is the engine ok? Have you got the paperwork? Any chance of viewing over weekend?

thanks, dave :)

The pic is very recent only change since then is the flat bars.

The only thing that is required is:

Rear tyre has slow puncture but has been filled with tyre-weld to seal the gaps. I BELIEVE it just needs running to get the seals working.

Rear brake caliper is rusted and requires cleaning or replacing

Battery compartment has been badly designed so access is difficult hence a flat battery.

1 K&N Filter is missing. fell off somewhere !!!

Paint is rough which is why I am selling this as a winter project.

No TAX or TEST

Bike does run and has great 'grin factor' !!!!

You can view a more recent video of the bike at www.maxvista.com/movie.wmv (http://www.maxvista.com/movie.wmv) filmed by 'shaking hands Pete'

Someone is coming for a look this weekend but I'll let you know if they buy it or not.
