View Full Version : Fork you or should it be me?
Any suggestions as to what the most suitable forks to use on my trike--ie normal or USD.
got std Suzuki air forks on at the moment but they are knackered with a capital F.!!
Thoughts and opinions much appreciated cheers.

If they end in a big black rubbery thing that rolls on the floor I`d be happy with it! Avin said that I`ve never gone in for racing and stuff! :o

if you intend using tele's, then there are a few things to take into consideration.
such as front or rear engined,if front engined bike or car derived. length of wheelbase
rake of the front end, length of forks.
teles are not very efficient as the rake increases
but if in doubt use the fattest you can, at least 40mm.
the front wheel should be given equal if not more thought than the forks.
i don't advise using honda;s comstar wheels especially on a raked out front end.
as they flex. and are basically held together with large pop rivets, i've had a few come to me thinking they're wheel bearings had gone, only to find the spokes were moving because of enlarged holes were the rivets are.
it's a scarey sight
