great news mate. when your child is seriously ill you just feel desperately helpless and alone. my daughter jessica had meningitis when she was two and looking at her in the hospital bed was just so frightening, but thank god she made a full recovery. she passed her driving test in july so now when she is out in her car me and mrs k sit around fretting until she gets home:) spoil your lad rotten and i'm sure all will be well for the future. all the best, mark.

Good news mate and good luck for the future. My adopted grandaughter has been home from Thailand for tests at St. Thomas's. it was a toss up between Cerebral Palsey and Distonia (which mimics the symptoms of CP). We have had the best diagnosis, which is Cerebral Palsey. You may think I have gone off my rocker, but it is very mild (only affects the left leg) and will not get worse. Also rythmic dance will educate and stimulate the cerbral cortex and improve the reaction of the lower leg/foot. Considering the other options, it could have been worse. Babs and the family will be going home on Tuesday night, but I have to work so can't see them off.
