A Project is Born

Friday (late): The project is concieved during a drunken haze. The plan is to build a modern version of a 50's style Bobber :eek: (I'm afraid I was vary, vary drunk)


Saturday: Confirm everything that was planned friday night (Shoot, they remembered) and check donor bike is still in the shed at the bottom of the garden. Have words with a couple of mates about getting bits made.

Sunday: Phone around club and get promised a tank. Go to autojumble and return with Fireblde hub and wheel assembly complete with bearings, disc, sprocket, spacers etc. Get home and put some ideas on paper before the onset of Mr Jack Daniels. and we're off

5.00 pm sourced a seat
5.30 pm sent a text to a mate about a tyre for rear end
5.40pm mate turned up at me door.......... with a tyre :eek:
Just aranged to get the donor bike (zx10, not ideal but owes me nothing) moved to work tomorrow so I can start stripping it down tomorrow evening.

Long, long, long way to go yet. Things will slow up considerably now as I'd like to do as much of this build as I can meself .........and I'm really crap at it :D

Alcohol gets ya into creative ways....but....it dont do owt for yer mechanical abbilities! Keep a sober head about yer shoulders and you will produce a fine machine! :o
