I'm freaking out. I'm writing an essay and I'm not getting anywhere!
I've spent the whole day faffing about doing the plan for the essay and on a futile search for information and am getting more anst ridden by the second. Work smart this year my tutor said - work smart! tell that to the village idiot (me). How can I concentrate and get cracking and stop arsing about? :(

Really boring ****e which doesn't help - validity of medical tests in vascular assessment. Involves looking up stuff on medical websites that you need a PHd to find yur way around *gloom*.

I used to do that at uni, spend all day making a revision plan and procastrinating cos I couldn't be arsed to revise, my top tip is to divide the work up into hour long chunks and if you work hard for that hour you get a reward - 15 mins of doing something non work related like reading the paper or chatting on MSN. Chance are once you start your hour chunk you might get 'well into it' and do more than an hour

The validity of medical tests in vascular assessment can be both and subjective
and objective argument, there are valid points for both schools of reasoning therefore
it would be futile for me to proceed with this essay on the basis that it will lead
to an ambiguous and therfore incorrect answer

I think you have it - fag, work, fag, work, fag, work, it's nearly done now just need to do some more reading and it's written!

Whilst up at Magdalene (Cantab) It was always a bit of a bother fitting in lectures, essays etc between rowing, rugby, rivetting the local dollys and getting completely bladdered in the Pickerel. So I paid a bit extra and got an oik from a 20th century college to do the work for me! Top man got me a first!!

nah, my plan is 5 mins of essay, get distracted by PC (usually a song i dont want comes on), change track, realise i cant be bothered to re start essay, use PC for 10 mins and restart essay, and so it continues.
