just a shame there wasnt a camera when my friends brother got hit by one, the fin of a missile or something split his head proper, hes someone proper important in missile loading or something in the RAF, his head was stapled up, dressed and within 7 hours of the accident he was back out on the deck again!!

AGREED rc30 . thats about as close to a propellor as you can get :D

but for raw power turn the volume up on this one. hard to tell if the merlin engine or the supercharger is the louder

OK, I'm not that old............

................but I used to work for Adrian Swire, who owned Spitfire MH434, and the Hannas and Rob Lamplough were local Spitfire owners.

They'd all come hammering over Adrian's land at low level. :eek:

Don't know what it is about the Spit or the Lanc, but when I've seen them at displays and you hear those merlins, the old adrenalin seems to pump!

yesterday I was watching a fire power demo at warminster we had three jaguars at low level doing a bombing run, challenger 2 tanks firing on the move various warriors and scorpions plus 2 sa90's and lots of other small armour and demounted troops doing their bit and an apache helicopter firng its chain gun.................................oh what fun and I was being paid for watching it as well...................................... :D
