Missed this in the cinema, got it on DVD today. Not a long film by any means at 1hr 15,but by feck, one of the most exciting movies I've see in a long time!Don't let the fact it's French put you off or the fact the plot's nothing particularly new, just watch it and marvel at the stunts, both martial arts and parkour (free running).
Highly recommended! :) :) :)

Saw it in the cinema. Seemed like it was a film done purely to promote base jumping. But I liked it. :)

Base jumping is chucking y'self of a high building or bridge with a parachute, something else completely! :D

Base Jumping is jumping off anything solid. Watched a program about a British team that went somewhere up North (Russia or summat) and did summat like 19000 feet base jumps, bloody mad :D

With base jumping, it is actually the SHORTER the jump, the more appealing it is to them. When they jump they keep their drag chute in hand and release it as close to the ground (or water) as they dare. Need ALOT of guts to do it, its not just the height, but the fact you are usually jumping from a building or short cliff where the air currents are strong.

Parkour...
I used to do the same thing when I was a kid, climbing things then jumping off at silly heights. Fell out of too many trees and into too many lakes/rivers...
Its great not growing up!

Nah, base jumping is a lot more than simply chucking yourself of a building. If ya look closely they incorporate base jumping into the fighting scenes and the stunts to give it a new "flavour". I think I saw the same thing in the advert for the new bond film due to come out (Casino Royale).
