as above really

I hear so much about lack of young bikers etc, and was just wondering what sort of spread of ages there is across this forum

LOL I took so long to construct the poll that you lot started replying LOL, was trying to keep it all anonnymoose to save peoples blushes LOL

Im just turned 29

hope that this post doesnt offend people, but just interested, I get constantly fed up with being looked at funny in bike shops etc, just because Im young, and to be perfectly honest I suppose I dont conform to the stereotype of the biker, whatever that might be

WITH AGE COMES GREY HAIR AND WRINKLES!!! LOL

*tony runs off to hide from all the fierce bikers weilding large spanners* LOL

Ive been riding since 12 building bikes since 14 and trikes since 19, first trike on the road on 18th birthday

but sadly due to my age etc never seem to get taken seriuosly at shows and the like,

although a few years ago I took great pride in listening to a bunch of "proper" bikers comment on the beautiful triumph chop sat outside, the attitudes changed when they realised it was mine, my thoughts being what the hell does it matter how long ago I was born, its what I do with the rest of my life that matters!!!!

maybe I will try and see how many young builders I can find and arrange a mini meet within a rally somewhere just for us

it is rather scary to think that with what I feel is the majority age of bikers being around 40 there is a gap in the chain that needs to be filled...

the youth bike project is a great idea, and hopefully that will bring new interest etc to the wonderful world of customizing.

although more young lass's would be far better LOL

I'm 44 but still have the mind of a 21 year old.I keep it in a jar beneath my bed.My mum told me that I'm lucky having big boobs as when I get older the weight of them will drag the wrinkles out my face!

Yes i've noticed this that there are a lot of younger fellas with (coff) the more mature women.
Techno says its cos women want men who can keep up.
Where does that leave sax??. :D :D

Mrs Reject
13-11-2004, 07:54 PM
Younger men and older women are very well matched *ahem* drive wise I always think, there are disadvantages tho' like waking up to someone who looks like a 12 year old wheras the older partner looks like they need a good iron :D

Whit am a gonna be like at 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still ride bikes,(some may say irrespossibly after my excursion on the motorway yesterday!!)
I still chase girls..(The advantage now is 20 is sexy...n so is 40!!)
