could you take the time to go to my site (addy at bottom of post). then see if you can access any of the other pages from it.
i can't, i just get a "internet explorer not responding msg" and i have to close explorer.
i can however access any page by typing in the address.
if you are having the same prob on my site. does anyone know whats causing it?
thanks.

Hi,
It is viewable in Firefox 1.0 under linux (Fedora Core 2)
If you should want to improve it, you might want to add a doctype before the opening <html> tag, like this:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
......
and add character encoding in the head. either iso-8859-1 or utf-8
<head>
......
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
......
</head>
Then have a look at The W3C Validation Service (http://validator.w3.org/).
Regards,
Rob.

ok i can now access the pages fine using firefox
still no luck with ie though.
topper
i'm afraid html code is as latin to me.
the site was built using coolpage 2.7 pro
and i must get rid of that dam vertical blue line on the left as it is placed in a minus setting. so does not appear on the building software

clear the cashe on your machine
Open IE, go to 'Tools', 'Internet Options'.
Select 'Tempoarary Internet Files' 'Settings'
Select 'Every visit to the page' and change the disk size to 80 megs.
Hope this helps :)

did that a while ago nitrowing.
as i said front page fine. but refuses to go elsewhere. ie justs stops responding and has to be closed.
my os is up to date.
i use panda platinium antivirus and firewall
but the main thing is that i don't have the prob with any other site i visit.
really got me baffled.
could it be an outside influence, such as a willy wacker sorry i meant hacker, has done something?

If a hacker had messed up your site then we wouldn't be able to see it.
If they had messed with your pc then you would have more problems than just your page.
I'll go and play with sam spade and see if he can come up with owt...

ok think i might know the prob.
i'm on the laptop atm. my site is fine on this (win98, internet explorer)
i have just gone on to adsl with homecall.
i was with freeserve on dial up, and ie has freeserve written across the top bar.
i have deleted freeserve but it still says freeserve on ie's top bar.
so maybe the prob lies there.
i'll delete ie and reload it.
mind you firefox seems just fine.
