have you read about 30 councils that are ready to put microchips on your wheelie bins,, these chips can calculate the weight of your rubbish and are read by the refuse truck,,then you are charged by weight

We had something like that stuck in our wheelie bins for monitoring not for charging. It was on both rubbish and recycling, so i suspect that they were trying to find out how much rubbish compared to recycling we were doing. Thing is i had 2 recycle bins and one rubbish bin so i bet that screwed their stats up!

some councils already use microchips in the bins,,,as for filming ppl dumping rubbish, they was flytipping, that was in salford manchester, that was a portable aircon unit box silly twat left the invoice on box,how fukkin stoopid is that,,,,y not film an catch them wot would appen if everybody did it,,,,,,
I hate fly tipping.. I actually HATE littering. I see no need for it. You can carry to picnic to a nice spot....then you can carry your sh1t home with you! if you're in a trade then expect to get charged for going to the dump! My mate a painter and decorator pays a professional dumping guy to get rid of his stuff. easier for him and he know's it's being done properly. ...not hard really.. " take your crap missus , okay that'll be £x's please"

councils now view them selfes as money makeing machines and not public servents.thay would say that thay have to ballance the books, but instead of making more people pay there dues thay go after the house owner, the tax payer, this is why people have no trust in the c.s.a,police,or government.but the british peope get what thay vote for, dont thay.

your missing the point - if they took the rubbish in the 1st place instead of cutting back and then employing people with servalance cameras costing around twice as much as they are saving, then fly tipping shouldnt be the problem that it is becoming.
you will never stop fly tipping 100% so those that do need to be delt with severly.....
just back from local council tip in my rascal - they refused to let me enter as they said "your in a van and it must therefore be buisness waiste - even tho if you look at it it is plainly household rubbish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now gonna have to hook the trailor upto the skoda and make 3 trips !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I hate councils and they way they think thay can rule your lives - and they seem offened when you point out to them that we the people they are upsetting pay there bloody wages....

yeah but how many 'man in vans' are there getting paid to get hold of peoples crap....quite a few, most of it's cash (not begrudging that) so why shouldn't the council charge for commercial waste, even if it is of a houshold nature.
Can you think of a service that isn't actually charged for these days?

When I lived in Brum I had a small Dhiatsue Hi-top Rascal type van..At the local tip they tried to get me to pay the trade charge ....I showed 'em my Blue badge and made a declaration that I used me van as my main vehical...They issuded me with a permit Free!
Here in Cumbria the nearest tip is twenty six mile round trip...They have a Crunch scheme where once a month you take the rubish (furniture, car bits and shed contents ,old clothes, etc) to spot a in town, the bin men are there they load all the rubbish into the wagon ..Jobs done! For white goods you only have just phone for the cost of about a tenner, they'll arange to come and pick the fridge or what ever up!
