Spike's down at A&E; some prick in a taxi has rear-ended the car in which Spike was a passenger.

He's got severe neck pains and is in a very bad mood. From the garbled conversation I had with him, I think he tried to twat the taxi driver...

Anyway, I'm sure he'll tell me/you more when he gets home.

Latest news, he and Dave both have 'sprained' necks and have been assured that it will hurt like hell tomorrow. They've been given loads of ibuprofen and are on their way home.

The guy who hit them apparently said that he didn't think Dave's car had much damage and could he pay cash. Then a load of other taxis arrived and started doing the crowding round thing, but as you can guess Spike wasn't fazed at all and they took loads of photos and got the bloke's details.

That's the front of the taxi, Dave's car has a creased boot, few spotwelds popped, and the boot dont shut, but he's not too bothered, as he's fuly comp ;)

I didnt twat the driver, i guess the anger managment is working !!

Got a good witness as well, as a tarmac gang was doing some-one's drive, so got name/number of them.

Dave took the pic on his phone, and a few more, but didnt photo the driver, which i thinks a shame :p

The missus has just had a compensation settlement for whiplash injuries from when a woman went into the back of her car in February. She got £2500. So you should be getting a nice pay off later, with a bit of luck!

Hold out for the final offer usually the third, my missus was a passenger in a taxi when it was hit by a very silly looking driver who's make up had smudged across her face cos while she was applying it she hit my missus in the cab, she held out on the advice of her brief and ended up with just under 6 grand, came in useful that did cos the twats in the govt was about to slam me for three years unpaid poll tax.

He's still in pain and taking lots of painkillers, but it didn't stop him going to Big Pete's yesterday and picking up the GS. Shame he forgot to collect the ignition key too :cool:
