Sabre Toolmaking in Sheffield are good - not a trike builders, but Precision Engineers - they'll make any components you need to order - excellent quality, not too expensive.
Then it's just "Airfix" time!

If you want a leadink link front end that aint necessarily pretty but strong, effective and not expensive then send me a PM for the details...

hi smudgetrike. im heading down to bexhill tuesday night. i dont know many people down there(just the inlaws) but they might know people who can help.
if you could give us a bit more detail. im a bit slow sometimes. but in a quick way. the only guys i could recomend are boneshakerchoppers but there up here in brum.
on a diff note. im supposed to be moving down that way soon. whats the bike life realy like. ive been down several times and wasnt impressed. I was on a sports bike (gsxr11) but no body would wave never mind chat. do they have a problem with outsiders. or are they just like that. allso i didnt see many customs. basicly i just wana know if its worth moving.

live just on the outskirts of Hastings and actually managed to get the trike out today and was waved at several times so Hastings ain't that bad. however, that could just be becourse it was the first sunny day for ages :D
can recomend a guy or two for engineering etc plus there are a few small custom type shops locally, but as far as I know the only guy I can recomend building trikes is in CRANBROOK.
As for the bike scene in sunny Hastings try the Fountain Pub from 8.30 on a thurs nite. as a bunch of us meet there, chew the fat, do the rally scene, sunday run outs etc.
If you need any further info pm me or give me a ring on 07941360492

cheers

Here Ali, how about a Trike Tek article on front tyre selection for trikes - specifically for bike front wheels? (god I sound like that guy in Little Britain, the one who goes into the shop to buy stuff
:D )

just ride up to basildon or southend in essex etc and sit and wait LOL, soon you will meet someone that can help, Tom touhy, or tony Ryder were both very good when I first got into triking years ago when I lived in essex, good honest items that did what they were supposed to :)
