Just saw on the teletext Fred Dibnah died today.
He really was one of a kind,and though I didn't know him I'll miss him.
That's two people I admired in three days.

Fred's programmes were always riveting , and his interest and enthusiasm always captivated you. In an era were most tv presenters are pampered halfwits , Fred was always an "orginal".
Top Northern bloke! Much missed!

i think as the others say, its his enthusiasm for real machinery etc we shall miss
