Whenever I fit any plastic plumbing I always buy the pipes that are a tight fit and always use solvent glue to hold them in. I always do one joint at a time and never have leaks...Ha...Yesterday Liz found a leak of water under our washing machine. So today was fix it day. pulled out the under bench washing machine, all dry, last week we bought a new condenser dryer. Could it be that said Liz..Nah don't worry I'll find it, where's that bloody cat! We don't have a cat. ok switch on the washing machine while it's in the open and we watch it...Of course being a man I have more important things to do..Found it calls Liz, it's one of your joints..Ok so I missed one end of one join two years ago. So I dried the joiner made sure it was clean called liz to pass me some kitchen roll to make sure it was dry, when all of a sudden water comes gushing out...She's only washing her hands while I'm working on the drain pipe...So I've made the join, told her not to make tea, wash her hands, or wash up for one hour to be sure it's dry.. I'm upstairs in the computer room writing this and wondering..will she...won't she? My house was built in 1902 and rebuilt in 1920..So how did they know I would need a computer room! :D John
