Tonight as we sat and he got bored with watching telly - me n Bri did an old fave A to Z of bike manufacturers - usually done half cut during TT (boy do we have an exciting lifestyle!!!!!lol)
Anyways some letters brought us both to an abrupt halt!
Does anyone know any genuine bike manufacturers beginning with: "P", "W", "X"(a forlorn hope there I think!) or "F"(he said Francis Barnett but I am sure there is another!)
Any help would clear two very confused minds - ta!!!
Btw it's a fun game - especially with added alcofrol first!!!.....honest! :D

Wotcha.
Yep - they also made a bike specifically to pull sidecars. A nice big JAP sidevalve engine, and they just happened to call it the Watsonian. There's a nice one at the national m/cycle museum . . . if the fire didn't get it . . . stands a good chance of surviving seeing as it was displayed in the entrance ( or it was last time I went there )rather than in the three rear halls that got wiped out.
Museum slide show - rather large file if on dial up (http://www.moonshiners.org.uk/museum.htm)
The Wolf ( and the Norton 'Wulf' ), a few Panthers and the Watsonian ( the last piccy ) make an appearance. I wish I hadn't looked at those again now . . . most of 'em were destroyed :(
